refurbishment Project

We have been working with the national Heritage Lottery Fund for many years with the aim of refurbishing Tylorstown Welfare Hall and make the building sustainable for the future.
We currently have ‘Resilience Funding’ in place to work with architects and other professionals to create a project plan.  Some of the plans include a passenger lift to access the lower floors, as there is currently no internal communication between floors, and a designated soft play area in the Institute (old snooker room).  We will also receive full electrical upgrade, external modernisation of the Hall and an overall revamp of the building.
